Learn how your school can win recognition and cash incentives in the Healthier US School Challenge! The Healthier US School Challenge (HUSSC) is a nation-wide program that recognizes schools that meet high standards for nutrition education, physical education, healthy foods and more.
Speakers from the Illinois NET Program and two Illinois schools will share information and resources to help your school wellness team:
- submit a successful HealthierUS School Challenge application,
- win recognition and cash incentives for your school,
- develop an award-winning school lunch menu,
- support student health and achievement with nutrition education and physical education/physical activity programs that work
Intended Audience: Administrators, teachers, foodservice staff, school nurses and others on the school wellness team
